Using Flow simulation (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD), we are able to describe flow processes and their properties in a numerical manner. Flow simulation can therefore be used to optimise flow design or to design components with regard to their fluid mechanical properties. We offer a solution for almost any flow type: steady or unsteady, laminar or turbulent, compressible, non-isothermal, non-Newtonian or multi-phase flows, behaviour of particles in fluids or porous media. In addition, we are able to examine flows couples with heat transfer or chemical reactions by using multiphysical simulation approaches. We offer special know-how, in particular for the simulation of phase transitions (evaporation and condensation) and catalytic interactions (fluid-surface interaction).
